Delhi Metro: Delhi Metro is called the backbone of the capital and NCR. Lakhs of people travel in Delhi Metro every day. DMRC provides many types of facilities to the passengers, so that they do not have to face any kind of problem. In such a situation, now Delhi Metro Corporation has brought another facility for its passengers, which is known as Delhi Metro Bike Taxi. Delhi Metro customers will now be able to book their bike taxi rides through DMRC Momentum (Delhi Sarathi 2.0), the official mobile app of Delhi Metro, without having to juggle between multiple apps. DMRC itself gave this information by posting it on Facebook.
These people will be able to take advantage of the facility
Delhi Metro is now going to provide bike taxi facility to its customers even outside the metro station, so that the passengers do not have to face any problem even outside the station. For this, women have been given separate priority. In this, two types of bike taxis will be provided, the first one will be named SHERYDS which will be completely for women and its rider will also be a woman. The second bike taxi has been named RYDR which anyone will be able to use. The main objective of this scheme is to provide security to women and it also has a GPS chip which further strengthens this link of security.

how much will the fare be
At present, Delhi Metro has started this facility at 12 metro stations, gradually there is a plan to implement it at all the metro stations of Delhi NCR. Its fare will be at least Rs 10, after that Rs 10 per kilometer will be charged for 2 kilometers and then Rs 8 will be charged for every kilometer. This service is only for a radius of up to 5 kilometers.
Facilities are available at these stations
This new facility of Delhi Metro is currently available only at 12 metro stations of Delhi. These stations include Dwarka Sector-21, Dwarka Sector-10, Dwarka Sector-14, Dwarka Mod, Janakpuri West, Uttam Nagar East, Rajouri Garden, Subhash Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Karol Bagh, Millennium City Center Gurugram. This bike service will run only within a radius of 3 to 5 kilometers of the metro station, whose timing is from 8 am to 9 pm.
